This is a charge from Maryland Vital Records online service called VitalChek. To my understanding they are legitimate as I had applied for a copy of my husband's birth certificate awhile back. However, I didn't finish the process as they needed a lot of extra physical proof as well as other convenience fee's to make it happen, so I figured I'd leave it half finished without issue, yet they charged a partial fee anyway. Not sure what that's about, but otherwise yes, I believe it is legit.
They took my money on 8/17/21 and never sent me my order

I used Vital records back in January 2021 and I processed and order, but just like the other person I didn’t complete one order too and it appears that they are charging me for a processing fee 11.75. I will start calling this number 410-764-3038 once the charge has posted to my account for a refund. If I don’t get one then I’ll dispute it. I want to note that I checked to make sure I was charged for the full amount for my order and I was. This should not be allowed.

applied for a birth certificate nevr got one and they continue to charge my card for the past two month $11.75 twice now having to dispute this once again
Why you charge 11.75. on my card. That scam I want my money back to put on my credit card 11.75
