This thing showed up on my credit union VISA.
Excellent service, legitimate company
We called their so called number, it belonged to a guy named Rudy. He had someone named Harry call us back to say they would cancel this on my mother's card with no questions but her name. Not legit!
They said they were "shutting down" and that is why they were going to issue me a "refund", I am so stupid, they told me that if I went and purchased gift cards that would be the only way for them to give me my money back. I did not want to share any more information. They robbed me of $800 off of the gift card. Lesson learned, I trusted the guy and he really fooled me. I am not only humiliated but feel extremely violated. I will never trust any other company now.
It's the old "your computer called us" scam. They claim to be affiliated with Microsoft and are getting error reports from your computer. They have your actual name and email address. They want you to go to their site to "fix" the problem.
This has appeared on my credit card account. I have tried to reach them but can't seem to find a number that is active or an address other than FL 32708 US and a phone number 914 595 4307 which is busy.
THis charge appeared on my checking account. I don't know what it is?
They texted me a message that said they would charge my bank account $3000.00 I wasn't told what this charge was regarding.
Showed up on my card. Called card company and charged back I hope and sending me a new card.
I thought they were Norton - to avoid $400 charge, agreed to $268. They never mentioned the Nugetech name. Disputed the charge, canceled the card. Phone message from them threatened a $400 charge. I did everything they tell you not to!
I got stuck with over $4000 in charges on my CC. I should have paid more attention to my bank statements. I called the number and a person answered and said the company was bankrupt, and did not know what service the company provided. I have not a clue how they got access to my CC.
