Ohhhhh, this isn't as suspicious as you think. I was wondering what this charge was until I remembered buying a soft drink from the vending machine with the card. You guys are fine.

Popped up on my card as transaction today. Not mine! I do not use my card for any kind of vending machines. Heard too many people complain after doing so!
Ummm, this is a complete scam. I have over 10 of these $2.25 charges on my statement. I don’t buy stuff from vending machines, $2.25 is a very specific & same amount that I’m sure I would notice. I’m calling my bank to report this.
Reoccurring charge on statement from this company. Make sure to report this to your bank, may not be this company itself but someone is using your card information.

Yes. Thought it was suspicious but yes, it's from a vending machine. Got a bottle of water using my debit card as I had no cash.
I was charged $1.00 on my Chime card. My assumption is that it's checking if the card has funds. I was lucky I saw that charge literally within minutes and transferred the funds to my Cashapp account.
