I did not sign up for this but this is on my credit card. I did call them and that was a waste of time.NO HELP. Maybe she was new, she knew less than me.
This charge is likely legit. Box.com, Box*Box.net run a cloud based file server/storage solution. They have a FREE plan for individuals but it limits file uploads to 250 megabytes. My son wanted to upload a 279 megabyte file so he pays $10 monthly which we will monitor to decide if it's worth his money over the course of the next couple of months.
This charge is a scam, it’s someone using your card to “test” it to see that it’s working. I’m not sure how mine was accessed but I just had to deal with this. Normally I have several steps of security but it seems that didn’t matter for this charge to happen.
Today, using this site, fraudsters stole $ 84.99 from my card. Be careful!!!!!
Scam! I luckily caught a pending charge of $1.00, and called my credit card company. The fraudsters were testing the card to see if it was legitimate before making a larger charge. I don't know who they are and when I tried to call the number no one picks up the phone. Beware.
I was charged $1.00 from this company and then had a charge from Roku for $326.22. The first charge looks like it was to confirm the ability to make the second charge.
