Showed up on my card today in eastern canada. Never heard of it before. Credit card company had me tear up my card and order a new one. Glad I caught it.

I just had two charges show up from this company on my visa. The lady at Avion said that it was a "budget" phone company and lots of people order disposable phones online. She also mentioned that she could see that my cc number was manually punched into the system, so totally fraudulent.

My credit card was hacked and Vesta Chatr BC showed up on my bill. Not my charge.

Vesta Chatr BC billed my credit card for $51.74. Never heard of these guys. Contacted my credit card issuer and had the charge voided and received a replacement credit card too. Who are these scumbags? With so many people being ripped off, how come they haven't been investigated and caught?

This charge was on my Visa in March April and I understand from visa that it is in my May statement. Never heard of them and I was not subscriber. Visa are reversing the charges and have cancelled my Visa card. Now have to get a new card and go through the process of informing the companies that are legitally charging my card every month. What a hassle.

Why has this been going on for so long with all the complaints since 2014????

If I don’t pay my ROGERS bill ontime, I start getting phone calls within one business day after payment due. The fact that this has been going on for more than three years makes me think credit cards are part of the problem. Silence means a lot.

Total scam. Just discovered this on my Visa statement and my bank will reverse the past 2 months worth. Unfortunately it goes back further - good reminder to check those statements. Called the vendor, and they put me through to an Oregon call centre. They refused to transfer me to their accounting department, and refused to let e speak with a manager. This leads me to believe they are complicit in the scam. Avoid this company.

I am a Chat-r subscriber. However, Chatr shows up as such on my bills, without the "Vesta". Only one charge labelled "Vesta Chatr" was ever listed. I have changed cards, I think it is probably a scam.

Total SCAM & Definitely FRAUD.

I have 5 consecutive charges of $39.55 on the same day, back to back, all within an hour. This is the total amount of my chatr mobile plan, however it should have only charged me once since I only topped up once,but I am charged 5 f***ing times. WTF?

Charged 3 transactions totalling over $500 and I live in Australia and have no phone plan with these people, never heard of them. Total scammers and Visa stopped my card and notified me of suspicious charges which I confirmed were theft. Now I have no card and where I live due to COVID19 regulations all transactions are contactless so I have to use a card. Hope they rot in hell, happy easter, I'm stuffed until my new card arrives :(

Just called RBC to reverse a transaction by them and Paybright. Idk what's going on but it's good to keep a close watch of your credit card transactions. I'm having a new card sent to me soon.

I have no relationship with this company, and am concerned that they accessed my credit card. Business low credit rate card? Never heard of this in association with Vesta chtr.

We wanted a casual use phone for my wife. My personal phone is through FIDO. The FIDO rep said Chatr was the cheapest for what she wanted. I signed up in September 2018. We used our own phone and it works fine. The bill from "Vesta *Chatr 888-278-5588 BC" comes through regularly. No problems.

Just got a charge for $78.40 on my CC and I have never heard of this company nor use their product.

This is a legitimate charge on my credit card for which we have a contract for cell phone data only plan. I don't necessarily believe Chatr is the problem. When your credit card info is stolen by thieves, sometimes they test it with lowball charges from various companies. The only way to stop it is unfortunately is to stop the card and get a new one.

Vesta *chatr* charges I noticed, I am traveling and cannot get a new card ! VISA says it can't do anything!

They are still trying but my provider recognized the scam and blocked the charge of 16.95.
