We traveled on May 23, 2016 from Monterrey to Laredo. Attempted to pay toll at the Caseta Sabinas with two different credit cards. Both were rejected. Then paid toll with pesos. A couple of weeks later, my two credit cards were charged with the toll fee.
On November 1st, 2017 I was in the highway from Laredo to Monterrey. At the highway exit "Caseta Sabinas" I was requested to pay 250 Mexican pesos (about $12.50). I gave my credit card but the guy at the tollbooth said that the card was rejected. Then I paid toll in cash with pesos. The same day I received two notifications from my credit card. It was charged twice with the toll fee. So I paid the highway three times: 1 cash + 2 by card.
