It is a fraudulent charge. My husband got it on his debit card. According to our bank, these things happen usually at restaurants when the customer's debit card is out of their hands. The waiter/waitress is then able to take a picture of the back and front of the card. Then they can sell it on the black market or make purchases for themselves. Viva Aerobus is a Mexican airline. My husband is a truck driver and this happened at the TA in Candler, NC. Truck drivers make good targets since they are on the road and may not be monitoring their bank accounts. We now have prepaid for him to use on the road.
on 9/221/22 I received a fraudulent charge of $168.21 on my card made by Viva Aerobus CIB Apodaca Mex. I called my credit card company. They are deleting the charge and closing my card and my account.
I just received the same charge on my credit card. The only place I had this card out of my hands was in cancun Mexico.
Charge was done from VIVA AEROBUS CIB APODACA MX.
