My partner has this charge on his account and I was trying to work out if it is a business expense. He couldn't remember what it was for so I google the .com address and it took me to a page for woodworking projects and plans from America. My partner is a carpenter and enjoys woodworking so I assume it was a legit purchase. The charge was for PP*WWGOA.com which I believe stands for Projects, Plans, Wood Working Gould Of America. The charge was an international purchase from the USA so it is probably either a newsletter subscription or some woodworking plans.
I have no idea where or what this charge is.
I don't know what this is.
I looked it up since I had no idea what it was and found this site.
"PP WWGOA" stands for "Plans and Projects - Wood Worker's Guild of America". It's a subscription newsletter/magazine. Any newsletter that costs $55+ a month is NOT worth it. If you're being charged for it, cancel your subscription.
Yes it is an online subscription to the Woo Worker's Guild of America but I am only paying $9.55USD. It is interesting that someone would be paying $55.00 per month unless it is for a premium membership or has something else bundled in with it.
This web site tried to use my debit card without authorization. Don’t ever do this again. Bank is aware
Just saw this taken out of my acct not authorized by me whatsoever!
Just had this charge on my account also! I've never even looked at their website so I have no idea how it would have gotten charged to me. Wtf
Like both Scott F and Cook, this appeared on my account. I have no idea who they are — never heard of them before and I don’t do woodworking. I will be notifying my bank of unauthorized charge when the open on Monday.
A "Withdrawal Debit Card" charge appeared on our checking account labeled "PP *WWGOA.com Purchase Wayzata MN" amount $15.80. Then right after that a "Withdrawal Adjustment Credit Voucher" credit appeared reversing the original charge. We have never dealt with WWGOA.com and have no idea what this was for. Will contact bank in the morning.
I clicked on the woodworker's guild site. The come on is they offer membership for a dollar. . This morning there is a charge for 59. 60$ on my bank account. I don't spend that on Amazon , where you actually get something for your money. What a ripped off. I'm on fixed income. 60$ is a of money. Do got go near this site
I cancelled this subscription about six months ago, they have taken it again today .
The $65 charge went from "pending" to "posted" in 3 days. Bank will dispute charge and I will get a new debit card.
$65 purchase recurring monthly? l don't think so. Going to call my bank ASAP!!!
i think its woodworking guild of America - does this sound familiar to someone ?
I received such a deduction from my salary today. I am a pensioner and cannot afford these unexpected deductions. I have been receiving regular emails from Woodworkers Guild, but do not recall every signing up a membership with them.
Debiit $ 94.47 4th Aug $94.24 19Aug PP*WWGOA Purchase 855-2530822 MN for both purchases. Suspect this charge raised in USA the difference being exchange rate USD to AUD. As it is from your company can you please credit this charge as I did not make any purchases
Ok… same nonsense with me 2 years ago they gave me a zero dollar subscription for their newsletter Today, I got billed $72. I called them , and was very upset. This is just fraud. They count on people not checking their credit card statements So, here was my “goof” They said they needed my CC info just to verify my ID for the $0 newsletter. I should have never given this info. Beware. Never give CC numbers on free offers. I think that wood working group should be ashamed of themselves The agent I spoke to was obviously getting lots of irate calls.
I just got a charge for 101.00 i am on disability. This was not authorized nor asked for. That alot of money when all you get is 900.00 a month...
I had Pp*crafts Wayzata Mn took 119 dollars out of my account
I got a charge from wwgoa.com purchase of 72:00dollars for Wayzatam I do not know what this is for.
my account went into overdraft and when i looked to find out USD 86.40 your name came up against PP *WWGOA.com Purchase Retailer location: 855-2530822
I received an email from Capital One about a $194 charge. In the email they had declined the charge. I have another card on the way to replace this one. What is interesting is the letters WWGOA look familiar. I get several woodworking magazines and think I may have seen Woodworkers Guild Of America before, perhaps an advertisement. I just pulled the site up online. Not only have I seen it in another magazine, the site shows that I've logged into it. My email and password are logged into it. I'm going to contact them and find out about the unauthorized charges. Is it from them or has their site/company been hacked.
I did not purchase anything from this company. Yet,a charge of $88 appeared on my last statement. Please refund this amount ASAP!
Just noticed a charge posted to my Citibank Acct. I’ve never visited this website of Wood Workers Guild of America. That looks like a PayPal charge but I don’t have that either. Obviously someone is a hacker!
