I got the same charge on my credit card. It comes from Porter Stansberry 888-501-2598 that is in Maryland. I am being charged for all their newsletters but will call today to cancel
I bought a book for $20.59 and then one month later they took out $109.59 and $59.59, supposedly for newsletters. I purchased a book on line for 14.95, the author is Zach Scheidt and the name of the book is Big Book Of Income. What i didn't know was that by purchasing the book i became a victim of a scam. i was then charged 99.00 dollars which is an annual fee for monthly text messages on tips on how to create additional revenue streams. All i was interested in was the book.
I also purchased a book on line for $4.95, the cost to ship it, the author is Zach Scheidt and the name of the book is Big Book Of Income. What i didn't know was that by purchasing the book i became a victim of a scam. i was then charged 99.00 dollars which is an annual fee. I just discovered the fraudulent charge 9/13 when I couldn't access funds on my debit card. Annoyed and frustrated that companies think that it is ok to make their money off the people who are seeking help in a financial hardship already and then ... I am going to try to cancel and have already reported it to my bank and will be taking these additional comments to my bank to hopefully warn others and help others get their money back I am short now til next payday. I hope those responsible have a hard time sleeping knowing they are robbing people.
I have been charged this twice and I want it stopped
No I do not know anything about this company and I surely didn't agree upon $103.66 to be withdrawn from my bank account. I have call them at 855-2756335 to cancel and all I got was a recording and then a hang up. When I call again I got a voicemail mesg. and then they a recording saying that voicemail is full and can't accept mesgs. That's bogus. I want a refund and cancel wat ever account that connected to my debit card ending#2281 cancel and eliminated. This is unreal.
I called 410-934-4330 and got these charged refunded very quickly - Agora Financial was very nice :)
This is an online fraud organization, dont have anything to do with them. Once they get your card number all kinds of fraudulent charges are run up on your credit card.
