They offer you a 1 dollar package. A month after, they charge you $25. In the option, I cannot find any subscription cancellations or things like that.
Hi, I am requesting the bank to help me get a refund for the following bogus transaction On Dec 17, 2018, I signed up to access a English website for a cost of $1. They said that one dollar would enable the subscriber to access some lessons and that was it. They didn't explain there will be further subscription costs involved. Then, On 01/14/2019, they charged me $25.00. In the FAQ page they explained, as posted below, the account was being "renewed at full-price to your original payment type." I never requested an enrollment into any course or anything else. www.languagepod101.com made two fraudulent charges on my credit card within two days in July 2022. I had never heard of the company. I had set up alerts for any charges to this card (which I only use for online shopping), so I was able to cancel it before they made any further attempts to charge my card.
