Tennessee department of revenue
I have confirmed that L2G*TN DOR 615-253-0704 is 100% legitimate. I found the reference on a credit card statement after the card was used to pay my State business taxes (franchise and excise). I called the number and the recording was the TN Dept of Revenue. This one we don't have to be concerned about any more.
This started appearing for billings for our assumed name filings for our LLC this year
It is the business tax, split between county and city. Mine was 2 charges of 28.65 for a small business.
I just renewed my Tennessee Driver's License and the legitimate charge said "L2G*TN DEPT SAFETY330_615." It looks like 615 was the start of a telephone number, with Nashville's area code, but it was cut off. Anyway, the point is the "L2G" is okay. It is not a scam.
First time I've ever seen this and I live in TN!! I am also disabled.. WHAT TAXES!!! I say SCAM!!!
