I have no idea what the source of this charge is, but I just emailed PayPal Credit with all of the information on my site for a charge from Californiap.com and asked for an explanation from them.

I searched and came up with a photo site. I am calling Paypal's fraud unit to see what they can do.
My CC was charged twice on March 19, 2020 for PAYPAL *CALIFORNIAP IN THE AMOUNT OF $146.31 and $247.38 for a total of $393.69. I've reported these fraudulent charges to my bank. The bank said that the "vendor" identifies themselves as "pet food and supplies". The only pet I have is my wife and she doesn't like dog food.

I just noticed four unauthorized charges on my Pay Pal account on May 19, 2020. I did not make any purchases from this company and I want these charges reversed immediately. I'm beginning to wonder if PayPal is a complete fraudulent company.
I see that I have four charges made by CaliforniaP on May 19th of $706.69 and I did not authorize these purchases. I'm calling PayPal Fraud Dept and register a complaint. I do not have dogs and I certainly wouldn't pay $700.00 for dog food. Total fraud!!!

On 1/21/20 a Paypal E check for $127.80 Californiap was on my bank account. I believe now it is from Dr. Marty as I did order cat food. I will not order again as I don't like the fact it doesn't state that the charge was from Dr. Marty. I assume this charge was from Dr. Marty because of previous comments.

Last month February 2024, was the first time I saw this charge on my account, it appeared again today March 21, 2024.

Several of these charges appear on my PayPal account statement. Now that my attention has been called to it I will review all my PayPal statements. Feb 28 the following: $28,68, $105.06, $85.50, $45.09! I believe because of the inconvenience caused by these scam debits that victims should be reimbursed at 200%!
