Description | Online Top-Ups via PayPal give the charge PAYPAL * CIRCUITLAUN GBR. (edit) |
Stands for CircuitLaundry. Website circuit.co.uk. Used by me personally, as a student, to do laundry at my accomodation.
I thought it was a scam but can confirm this is a charging mechanism for laundry at Queen Mary University London.
When I first saw this I had a little fright but now I've realised it's the system for paying CircuitLaundry - as a student I pay through this.
Do not understand this charge
CircuitLaundry is a self laundry facility in UK that uses rechargeable card to pay for services and it may look suspicious initially. My son is a student in UK and uses it. Laundry in UK is expensive! :(
Circuit laundry 2 attempted fraud payments on my debit card
Scammed me £75 on January 4th 2017, as customer care unit of Microsoft team. Receipt was PayPal CircuitLaundr UK
This was set up for student laundry costs for my daughter. It looks very suspicious as it wasn't connected to my paypal. If you have a student in the family check with them before assuming it is fraud!
