Just showed up as a pending charge on my Redcard. I called to ask about it and they couldn't figure it out and opened a fraud case for it. But after reading Mike's comment here about subscriptions, I realize it was probably just that. Although the amount was wrong for the item I had on subscription. They are cancelling my current card and sending a new one. I also cancelled the subscription. Better safe than sorry.

I was charged 4.57 twice the other day the only reason I noticed was I paid bill in full and seen 2 new charges that were not recognized. So I contacted target and they cancelled wifes card and are sending out paperwork for me to record fraudulent charges on . I think this may be target red doing the scamming figure if all customers are charged 4.57 across the board w/o noticing?$$$$$$$ that's alot of $$$

I have the 3991 on my pending transactions for 374.00. I did not make this transaction and I have no subscriptions. This is fraud. Had several other declined transactions for 400 and 500 as well

I noticed a pending transaction from target 3991 for a household item for $20.85 on July 24, 2021 at 10:25am. I was never at Target to make this purchase. Looking on Google it says Target 3991 is located in MN, I live in California. I will be calling Target to straighten this mess out.

Just paid my Target card in full so I just wanted to make sure it posted so I checked. That's when I saw a charge from Target 3991 on my account listed as Pending household for $0.90 made on Oct 1st 2021 at 4:30PM while I was at home at that time. I am guessing someone is trying to see if it will go through first and then try something more expensive. Going to call now.

I initially had a $3.85 pending charge from "Target 3991" show up on 9/22 or 9/23. I kept watching it and it later disappeared but it took about a week and a half. I now have another pending charge of the same amount of $3.85 on 10/7. I do not have any subscriptions. I called Target and they said it related to some type of online purchase but couldn't figure it out. Note: All my other online purchases show up as "Target.com 800-591-3869". I stopped using my redcard after the first weird pending charge showed up. I requested to close the current account and have another card reissued.

I just checked my credit card and Target. Com has charged my card. I haven’t bought anything from target since January of 2020. Someone tell me wtf is going on

Reading these was helpful. I had a similar charge show up on my Target account and after reading these, I realized it's because I pre-ordered a CD through Target. It won't be released for months so it's "pending."

Preorder charge. Was confused as to what it was, but when checking the price against the preorder price, it matched.

I had my AX gift card charged for $170.71 over 5 separate transactions on July 12, 2022 by Target.com 3991. Nothing I charged. Called AX but not much help. They said they would turn it over to AX fraud department. We'll see what happens.

2 charges I did not make...July 10 (today) its 8:50 pm where I am now and both charged @11:10pm ...for 26.68. This is fraud. Have to callback in morning to talk to someone. This really %*&!es me off.
