This is 'The Nation' - the left-leaning news & commentary magazine
I have a charge of $39 to TNC*NATION MAGAZINE CO on my credit card this month, but I have not requested a subscription to The Nation Magazine.
I was abruptly scammed by this fraudulent TNC nation company for a RECURRING charge of $49 per month !!! I immediately notified my bank, which is trying to get this resolved. I have not ordered anything from this FRAUDULENT, SCAMMING so-called company, much less on a RECURRING basis. I can't possibly understand how or why 27% of those respondents claim that this is a legitimate company. AVOID this at all costs. Probably is part of the Russian effort here .

I found a charge for $10.00 on my charge card. I called their 800# and was on hold for 10 minutes. The wait time kept getting longer. I spoke to a "Scott". I had to argue with him to cancel the charge for a year subscription. Now I have to get a new card because somehow they got the number.
On our credit card statement that we received today we were charged $52.60. Damn scammer. I bet your mother is so proud of you while I have to jump through hoops to get it taken off my account.
Called about the charge on my card. I got a very pleasant response without arguing that the charges would be credited back my card. Thank you.
My story is similar to other ones on this site.I was aware of the Nation magazine before hand.But I had never subscribed to the magazine before.Then today I see that I had a 29 dollar charge on my debit card.I called up my bank and they said I had a previous charge from the Nation a year before.Obviously I am highly suspicious of this company now.
a $10.97 appeared on my credit card. This is a bogus charge; notified capital one to remove the charge.
