We've had two charges on our credit card that show the merchant as Amazon Prime Continuity/Subscription Services. The first charge is from December for 14.32 and the second a couple weeks ago for 16.53. I just discovered these charges on my statements and have filed a dispute with our credit card company. One purchase had the address of Amazon Web Services and a link to the merchant website, which took me to Amazon Jobs (never heard of that entity of Amazon before). I asked my family and did a very thorough search in my Amazon account and there are no purchases or subscriptions for those dates. I have no order confirmations for those amounts on those dates in any of my email accounts. Also, that credit card is not and has never been connected to my Amazon account or any Amazon account or set up as a payment option on any website anywhere. Furthermore, the first time we ever actually used this credit card was in February for just a few items. So the fraudulent charge in December was the first charge ever made on this credit card, when it was still tucked safely in a secure spot in our home. We didn't bring it out of hiding until February. So I'm of the opinion my credit card account must have been hacked into online, as we had never used the card for any purchases prior to the first fraudulent charge. There is definitely something nefarious going on with this merchant, or entity posing as a merchant, who seems to be using the term Continuity/ Subscription Services in a generic manner to purposefully scam and/or steal from people.
