Today as I was checking my bank account, I saw an unidentified charge for $199.99 on Sept 17, 2015. It chowed on the bank Transaction Details/description CHECKCARD 0916 SND*GSP PLUS SF 877-637-7911. I attempted to contact the number (877) 637-7911 and its line is disconnected. I will investigate this unauthorized charge with my bank institution.
I had that charge on my credit card and it was the deductible for my phone insurance through Best Buy. Could that be what happened to you?
I also checked and it is the deductible for my insurance claim for a lost cell phone that I bought at Best Buy. Someone should ask the insurance company to provide a better description of the charge.
I got a phone from best buy last month. I check credit account I too was hacked by snd gsp plus sf. GSP stands for geek squad protection. My credit card company called number you know what happen. Maybe best buy don't know they have been hacked.
This is a charge for the deductible on a lost phone through Besr Buy Geeks Squad Protection Plus. IpWhen I called the number showing on the bank statement, (1-877-637-7911), it took me to someone trying to sell a Med Alert plan. He was very pushy and kept demanding my credit card number. When I refused he got pushier. When I asked to speak to a supervisor he just hung up on me.
