I just renewed Bitdefender 2016 for $29.95 and I was charged by this company $40.00 seems like a scam going on.
This is that travel/timeshare company 'deposit' on a free vacation
On Wednesday June 7 at Six Flags Magic Mountain, I was suspiciously overcharged by Welk Resorts for reserving a space at a presentation. The charge was $40 instead of @20. I'm glad I checked and was made aware of the scam-like nature of Welk Resorts.
I was charged $50 for a Welks resort presentation. If you show up (which I did) you will be refunded in 7-10 business days. Will keep you posted if it does not happen.
I was paid back my 50 dollar deposit by them and did receive a free two day vacation to HI as well as a free bottle of wine. Didn’t buy anything because I just don’t believe in timeshares.
