Just been charged $1347 with the exact name of the merchant being COMMONWEALTH INSURANCE SYDNEY OLYMPI AUS Dodgy! Reporting now.
Me again... So it appears this charge WAS legitimate. It *is* Commonwealth Insurance (not CommInsure) and for me was the Home Building Contents insurance for my house which is an annual payment.
Cannot figure where this has come from. Just discovered it. Will report now.

Is it a 'big deal', to add just two words more to describe what the charge is for? eg:"Car inurance" or "Home&Contents" etc. These big companies get away with anything. Just confusing customers with ambiguous terms to satisfy their own ends.
This is a legitimate monthly credit card direct debit for Commonwealth Bank's home and contents insurance. I agree the description is very inconsiderate of their customers.
