I'm in Adelaide on Wed 14/9, It took my money from credit acc.
I thought it was dodgy having not been in melbourne for six months but I caught a taxi in Noosa on the weekend for that exact amount. I suspect it's just a service provider of the eftpos machines in taxis.
Looking at my bank statement on8-4-18 I discovered many suspicious charges that i haven't initiated. $95.85 by SLM Operating P/L And $131.46 by Trika Australia , Epay Australia West,In A Go Go, Aerial Transport, andJam Enterprises. That's $227.31 that has been fraudulently charged to my debit card between the 7th February and the 5th April 2018. How is this possible? Has any one else been ripped off by these companies???

I prepaid by visa Swan Taxi to get a friend home from Rockingham to Secret Harbour WA. Was told about $40, so i gave my card and my friend would pay the $1 or 2 to make the difference. Next day she told me she paid $40 and my card was charged $43.47. The melb reference is just because they use there portable machines (livetaxi). Accidental maybe, but i'll be looking into it
I've had charges from Taxi epay Australia west Melbourne on my credit card, however they have been genuine charges. I caught taxis in Perth and the physical receipts state Live Taxis.

I caught a Taxi at Tullamarine on the 31st of May and travelled to my address in Ferntree Gully I noticed that the Fare on arrival was $153.00 ,wanted to pay by a Touch Terminal but was told by the Driver that the Terminal was broke, so had to use the usual Terminal , did't receive a Reciept as that was broke too Come time when I receive My Bank Account there are (2) charges ! ( 1) is $236.09 the other $57.75 ( that charge will be funded after lodging a Claim with My Bank and GM Cabs Pty Ltd Mascot )
I have charged 2 times on 8 June n 18 June for 92 aud and 96 aud for taxi that used only 13 aud. This is ridiculous scam!!! I will avoid taxi now and better using Ola/Uber!!
Is this the same as Live Taxi Australia West Melbourne? I received my latest credit card statement and there is a transaction for this organisation. I can't remember the transaction and I wasn't in Melbourne in December.
